The 66th GRAMMY Awards marked the grand finale of this year’s Grammy season at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Feb. 4, 2024. Music’s brightest stars gathered to celebrate each other’s successes and deliver standout performances throughout the night.

Diverse musical genres took center stage, beginning with Dua Lipa’s lively dance-pop showcase that set the tone for a night filled with captivating performances. Miley Cyrus, who later clinched the Record of the Year for her single “Flowers,” graced the stage alongside other chart-toppers like Travis Scott, Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, Burna Boy, SZA, and a remote performance from U2 at Las Vegas’ Sphere arena.

The ceremony paid homage to both living and late musical legends, featuring Tracy Chapman and Luke Combs performing “Fast Car,” and Joni Mitchell making her Grammys debut at 80, alongside Brandi Carlile, Alison Russell, Lucius, Blake Mills, and Jacob Collier. Fantasia enthralled the audience with a powerful tribute to the late Tina Turner, while Billy Joel debuted his first new single in years, “Turn the Lights Back On.”

Beyond the electrifying performances, the 2024 Grammys witnessed memorable moments. Taylor Swift surprised with the announcement of her next album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” and secured her fourth Album of the Year win. Jay-Z delivered a pointed yet appreciative roast of the Recording Academy, and Celine Dion made a surprise appearance after more than a year away from the public eye due to her battle with Stiff Person Syndrome.
