50 Cent Teams Up With Netflix for Docuseries on Diddy Abuse Allegations, Promises Decades-Spanning Insight

Netflix has greenlit a new docuseries from Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, diving deep into the decades-long allegations of sex trafficking, abuse, and racketeering against Sean “Diddy” Combs. Directed by Alexandria Stapleton, the series aims to present a complex narrative beyond the headlines, offering nuanced perspectives on the human impact of the charges. 50 Cent emphasized that while these allegations are alarming, they should not eclipse hip-hop’s cultural contributions.

The series was announced after multiple lawsuits against Combs surfaced, including a settlement with ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura. Recently, Combs was arrested and faces serious charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and sexual assault. Despite his denial of the accusations, more claims have emerged, including those from former employees and artists under his Bad Boy Records label. Proceeds from the series will be directed toward supporting sexual assault victims.

Combs, who remains in custody, has defended his legacy, denying the allegations as attempts to ruin his character. Despite posting an earlier statement on social media, much of his public commentary has since been removed. The series, produced under 50 Cent’s G-Unit banner, seeks to shed light on these troubling accusations while considering the broader narrative of hip-hop.
