Kim Porter’s Children Denounce Alleged Memoir as False, Say Mother Didn’t Author Bestseller

Kim Porter’s children have spoken out against a memoir claiming to be written by their late mother, denouncing it as a fabrication. The book, Kim’s Lost Words: A Journey for Justice, From the Other Side…, surfaced on Amazon in early September and alleges a tumultuous, abusive relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs. Porter’s children—Quincy, Christian, Jessie, and D’Lila—issued a collective statement asserting that their mother never authored the book and calling anyone claiming otherwise a liar.

The book, attributed to an author named Jamal T. Millwood, purports to be based on Porter’s diary and private notes. Despite its rise in popularity following Diddy’s recent legal troubles, Porter’s children dismissed the content as false. They stated that rumors about their parents’ relationship were deeply hurtful and discredited any claims of foul play in their mother’s death, which was officially ruled as pneumonia by natural causes in 2018. The family has expressed disappointment in how their mother’s memory has been exploited for financial gain.

Chris Todd, who claims to have compiled the book from sources close to Porter, has defended the memoir, stating he felt the materials provided were authentic. He claims to be an investigative journalist and says his goal was to give Porter a voice. In response to the children’s statement, Todd opened communication lines with the family but remains firm in his stance, encouraging skeptics to investigate his work and background.
