Lil pump Shows Support for Donald Trump With New Tattoo

Lil Pump solidifies his unwavering support for the MAGA movement, showcasing his allegiance to former President Donald Trump by tattooing one of the iconic images of the ex-Apprentice star onto his upper left thigh. The rapper, born Gazzy Garcia, shared the tattoo on his Instagram on January 30, featuring the stern expression captured in Trump’s infamous mugshot from his arrest in Fulton County, Georgia, last August. This arrest was related to allegations of attempting to overturn the results of the 2022 election in the state, contributing to the 91 felony charges Trump currently faces in his pursuit of the GOP presidential nomination.

In his Instagram post, Pump, 23, accompanied the tattoo with the caption “MAGA [two American flag emojis],” alongside an older photo of himself smiling next to Trump at a rally. In a previous November post with the same image, Pump hailed Trump as the “Greatest president of all time.”

Pump has been an avid supporter of Trump for almost four years, beginning in October 2020 when he criticized President Biden’s proposed tax policy aimed at increasing the tax burden on the wealthy. This vocal support extended to the release of the pro-Trump song “Lil Pimp Big MAGA Steppin.” Trump even invited Pump on stage at a Michigan rally before the 2020 election, mistakenly referring to him as “Lil Pimp.” However, reports from the time indicated that Pump, then 20, was ineligible to vote as he had failed to register in his home state of Florida.

Pump’s decision to immortalize Trump’s mugshot through ink follows a trend in the hip-hop community, with Chicago rapper Bandman Kevo getting a similar tattoo last August. Other notable endorsements for Trump have come from rappers Benny the Butcher, Sexyy Red, Kodak Black, and the controversial MC Ye (formerly Kanye West), who visited Trump in the White House in November 2002, accompanied by white nationalist Nick Fuentes.

This week, Snoop Dogg also expressed a change of heart towards Trump, revealing newfound “love and respect” due to the former president’s last-minute clemency grant to Death Row Records co-founder Michael “Harry-O” Harris during his final moments in office.
