The 2024 Met Gala witnessed a double dose of magic from Ariana Grande. First, she delivered a mesmerizing performance fit for the theme, “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.”

Grande’s entrance was a spectacle itself. Carried by ethereal dancers, she “slept” her way into the venue before waking up to sing “Once Upon a Dream.” Following this fairytale start, she belted out her hits, including “Yes, And?” and “7 Rings,” captivating the audience.

But the biggest highlight was when Cynthia Erivo, her soon-to-be Wicked co-star, joined her onstage. Together, they delivered a powerful duet of “When You Believe,” proving their voices will be a force to be reckoned with in the upcoming film.

Sharing her excitement on social media, Grande called the performance “an experience I will cherish forever” and expressed her love for Erivo.

The Met Gala also saw the Wicked reunion extend beyond the leading ladies. Jeff Goldblum (the Wizard) and Jonathan Bailey (Fiyero) were also spotted, hinting at the upcoming cinematic magic.
