Kim Kardashian Wears Janet Jackson’s Iconic ‘If’ Music Video Outfit to Her Concert

“Can you guys tell where I’m going tonight?” Kardashian teased in a video on her Instagram Stories, giving followers a close-up of the pants. “I bet you will never guess.”

Kardashian shared several photos showing off the look and videos of her and her sister singing along at the concert. “I’m spamming tonight so unless you wanna see so much @janetjackson content I suggest you stay off my page,” she wrote.

The reality star also posted a screenshot from three years ago of Janet Jackson congratulating her on buying the outfit shortly after the auction. “Thank u so much @kimkardashian!” Jackson wrote at the time. “I hope ‘IF’ gives u as much pleasure as it did me.”

In 1993, Jackson’s song “If” peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100, one of her 27 top 10 hits. The music video features Jackson performing sensual choreography in a nightclub, wearing what is now one of Kardashian’s prized possessions.

Jackson’s next concert is scheduled for Thursday (June 6) in Chula Vista, California, followed by stops in Los Angeles, Anaheim, Sacramento, and San Francisco. After touring California, she’ll continue across North America before heading to Europe in September, concluding the tour on October 10 in Amsterdam.
