In a delightful surprise for One Direction fans, Harry Styles and Niall Horan reunited on stage during Horan’s Manchester concert on August 27. Styles attended the show and was seen singing along to their old hit “Stockholm Syndrome,” a track he co-wrote with Horan and others back in the band’s heyday. A fan captured the moment as Styles, sporting a mustache and yellow cardigan, enthusiastically rocked along to the song, joining in the nostalgic vibe.
Horan has been performing “Stockholm Syndrome” solo during his The Show: Live on Tour, though it originally appeared on One Direction’s album Four. The track, which once reached No. 99 on the Billboard Hot 100, was a special treat for concertgoers who witnessed the two former bandmates sharing a musical moment. Styles enjoyed the concert, even swaying along to Horan’s solo track “Heartbreak Weather” before making a low-key exit during “Slow Hands.”
This surprise reunion comes on the heels of another special guest appearance during Horan’s tour. Just days before, Ed Sheeran joined Horan on stage in Dublin, where they performed surprise duets, including “Little Things” and “Lego House.” Fans were thrilled to see the camaraderie between these former bandmates and collaborators, making Horan’s tour a nostalgic journey for One Direction enthusiasts.
