Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band have canceled the final two shows of their tour due to the legendary musician falling ill with a cold. Originally scheduled to perform at Philadelphia’s TD Pavilion on September 24 and New York City’s Radio City Music Hall on September 25, Starr was advised by a doctor to rest. Fans who purchased tickets are encouraged to request refunds at their point of sale.

In a statement, Starr expressed his gratitude to fans, sending them “peace and love” and looking forward to future performances. The 84-year-old musician previously shared his love for touring, noting that he and his band perform with one rule: to ensure that they and the audience enjoy the experience.

Starr’s recent EP, Rewind Forward, released in October 2023, reflects his outlook on life. He shared that the project is about moving forward and overcoming life’s challenges, as he’s faced many times. Fans remain hopeful for his speedy recovery.
