Travis Scott Invests in a Custom Omega-Rex Pickup and Faces Legal Drama

Travis Scott has made waves by purchasing a limited-edition $160K Apocalypse Omega-Rex — a custom-built Hemi Hellcat V8 truck designed for both power and luxury. The vehicle, dubbed “the most impressive pickup truck on the market,” is a standout addition to the Utopia rapper’s car collection.

According to TMZ, Scott’s purchase from SoFlo Customs marks the last model of this highly sought-after truck. This rugged vehicle features horsepower and design ready for any challenge, making it a true collector’s item.

While his Hellcat truck is turning heads, Scott is also making headlines for a lawsuit involving his song “Telekinesis”, featuring SZA and Future. Roc Nation artist Victory Boyd filed the lawsuit, claiming that “Telekinesis” borrows elements of her song “Like The Way It Sounds” without permission.

Boyd alleges that she wrote the original song in November 2019 and shared it with Kanye West. According to her, West later played the track for Scott, who then collaborated with Future and SZA to create “Telekinesis.” The suit claims that specific lyrics from the hook of “Telekinesis” are identical to Boyd’s composition.

Complicating matters, Boyd also claims that luxury watch brand Audemars Piguet used “Telekinesis” in an advertisement despite her explicit refusal to grant permission. She is listed as one of the song’s composers on Spotify and was reportedly offered an eight percent share in the track, which she declined.

Despite ongoing legal challenges, Travis Scott is preparing for an unforgettable performance at Coachella 2025. Festival organizer Paul Tollett, president of Goldenvoice, teased the rapper’s Saturday night headlining set as the “most significant experience the festival has ever had.”

In an interview with The Desert Sun, Tollett revealed that Scott’s plans for the festival include a “separate immersive experience” near the Sonora Tent, promising festival-goers something extraordinary.

Coachella’s dual weekends, taking place on April 12 and April 19, will highlight Scott’s creativity and vision, offering fans a groundbreaking blend of music and art.
