Lin-Manuel Miranda and Eisa Davis have brought together an extraordinary lineup for their highly anticipated WARRIORS musical album. Marc Anthony, Luis Figueroa, Flaco Navaja, and Chris Rivers will lend their powerful voices to this project. Anthony will embody the role of Tato, while Figueroa, Navaja, and Rivers will take on the roles of Miguel, Jesús, and “The Bronx,” respectively. Inspired by the cult-classic 1979 film The Warriors and the original novel by Sol Yurick, the album will feature 26 tracks that follow the journey of a New York City gang framed for a murder.

Miranda and Davis, who co-wrote the album, shared their excitement, stating that they’ve spent three years bringing the Warriors’ journey to life through music. As they continue to reveal the cast, anticipation builds for the album’s release on October 18. The project also boasts Grammy Award winner Nas as executive producer and Grammy winner Mike Elizondo as producer, adding even more star power to the mix.

This project is the latest in a string of successful musical endeavors for Miranda, who skyrocketed to fame with Hamilton. Meanwhile, Davis, a Pulitzer Prize finalist, continues to impress with her work in theater, television, and film. Together, they are set to create yet another unforgettable musical experience with WARRIORS.
