The Black Crowes are gearing up to hit the road again with a headlining North American tour set to kick off this September. This announcement follows the unfortunate cancellation of Aerosmith’s farewell tour due to Steven Tyler’s larynx injury, which originally had The Black Crowes as the supporting act. With Aerosmith’s plans scrapped, The Black Crowes have delighted fans by pushing forward with their own extensive tour.
In a recent statement, The Black Crowes shared the impact of Aerosmith’s cancellation, revealing that a few previously announced show dates had to be rescheduled, and some shows, including those in Tucson, Wanatchee, and Verona, had to be canceled altogether. Despite these changes, the band assured fans that tickets for rescheduled dates would be honored, and that more information would be provided directly to ticketholders.
The tour, which spans over three months, will begin on September 27 in Northfield, OH, and wrap up in December. Fans can also look forward to Happiness Bastards, the first new studio album from brothers Chris and Rich Robinson in 15 years, which they describe as a “love letter to rock ‘n’ roll.” The album marks a continuation of their storied career, building on their decades of experience and creativity. Pre-sale tickets for the tour are available starting today, with general ticket sales beginning on August 23.
