As the summer sun sets and fall approaches, the anticipation for early 2025 festival lineups is heating up. One of the most exciting announcements comes from Costa Rica’s Ocaso Festival, which has revealed a stellar lineup for January 2025. This year’s lineup features house music titan Chris Lake, renowned duo The Martinez Brothers, and Brazilian sensation Vintage Culture. Joining them are Space Miami resident Layla Benitez, techno duo Kasablanca, Brazilian producer Maz, and rising U.K. talent Riordan, among other prominent dance music acts.
The 2025 edition of Ocaso will be particularly special as it marks the debut performances in Costa Rica for Chris Lake, Kasablanca, and Riordan. The festival will also showcase a stage takeover by Lake’s Black Book Records, adding an extra layer of excitement for attendees. Set to take place on January 31 and February 1, 2025, Ocaso will be held at a new location on Playa Hermosa, just 10 miles from Jaco on Costa Rica’s Pacific coast. This move follows the festival’s previous locations in the Guanacaste province. Tickets are already on sale, with music lovers eagerly snapping them up.
In addition to the incredible music lineup, festival organizers are offering attendees the chance to explore Costa Rica’s natural beauty. Package tours to nearby destinations, including volcanos, hot springs, and national parks, are available for those looking to extend their adventure beyond the festival. Festival founder Devin Ellis emphasized the event’s mission to bring underground house music culture to Costa Rica, offering locals the chance to experience world-class DJs without traveling abroad. Ellis promises this year’s Ocaso will be the best yet, continuing to push the local scene forward.
