Country star Brett Eldredge is set to release his third holiday album, Merry Christmas (Welcome to the Family), on September 27. This eight-song collection will include original holiday tracks, further cementing his role as a holiday music favorite. Known for his smooth, classic vocals and annual Glow concerts, Eldredge’s previous albums Glow and Mr. Christmas made him a staple of the holiday season. The new album will feature “Sweet December,” a duet with Kelly Clarkson, marking their second holiday collaboration after “Under the Mistletoe.
Eldredge is also embarking on a new professional journey with the launch of his independent label, Warm and Cozy Records. This new chapter follows his amicable departure from Warner Music Nashville, with whom he shared a successful partnership. Reflecting on his decision, Eldredge expressed his excitement about “betting on himself” again and embracing the creative freedom of running his own label. Warm and Cozy’s distribution will be handled by ADA, while Q Prime South and New York will oversee marketing, press, and radio promotions.
For now, Eldredge plans to focus solely on his own music under the new label, aiming to cut out external pressures and fully embrace his artistic instincts. Though he hasn’t ruled out signing other artists in the future, his current priority is creating music that speaks to his heart. His collaboration with Kelly Clarkson on Merry Christmas (Welcome to the Family) is a testament to this, blending their soulful voices for a fresh take on holiday music.
