Gold House Honors Asian Pacific Excellence in Media & Entertainment

Gold House unveiled its star-studded 2024 A100 List on Wednesday, recognizing the 100 Asian Pacific leaders who have most impacted American culture and society over the past year.

A-List Honorees:

The Entertainment & Media category boasts music heavyweights like Stray Kids, Charli XCX, Steve Aoki, and Jung Kook of BTS. They join fellow honorees including Keanu Reeves, Hayao Miyazaki, Dev Patel, and breakout star Bella Poarch.

Hall of Fame & Newcomers:

Olivia Rodrigo and Jason Momoa solidify their legacies with induction into the A100 Hall of Fame. Rising stars like ATEEZ and Laufey are recognized as “New Gold” honorees.

Star-Studded Gala & Special Tributes:

The 3rd annual Gold Gala takes place May 11th in Los Angeles. Grammy-nominated Saweetie will be the night’s performer and receive the inaugural Billboard Gold Music Honor for her genre-bending music.

The Emmy-winning comedy “Beef” will be celebrated with the Gold Icon Honor for its portrayal of the Asian American experience. “Wicked” star Cynthia Erivo receives the Gold Ally Honor for her advocacy for inclusive representation both on and off-screen.

Industry titan HYBE Chairman Bang Si-Hyuk will be bestowed with the prestigious Gold Legend lifetime achievement award. Hello Kitty’s 50th anniversary will also be commemorated with the Gold Generation Award.

Afterparty Extravaganza:

The festivities continue with the inaugural Billboard x Gold House Founders Party, headlined by DJ Steve Aoki. The night also features a performance by “RuPaul’s Drag Race” champion Nymphia Wind, a Rakuten Viki karaoke room, and an additional set by DJ Hu Dat.
