Benny Blanco Selena Gomez Romance: A Grand Atlantic Journey

Benny Blanco would do absolutely anything for his wife, Selena Gomez. Specifically, he will do anything that doesn’t require him to board an airplane. The famous music producer suffers from a severe fear of flying.

However, he refused to let his phobia stop him from seeing her. On Thursday, July 16, Blanco showcased his endless love in a viral TikTok video. “POV: ur traveling across the atlantic in the titanic to see ur wife bc ur scared of flying,” he captioned the romantic clip.

The Things We Do For Love

In the accompanying video, Blanco stares directly into the camera. Next, he points to the watery horizon as his boat makes the long transatlantic trip. He perfectly soundtracked the video with Sam Cooke’s classic 1962 Billboard Hot 100 hit, “Nothing Can Change This Love.”

This grand romantic ocean crossing typically takes a full week or more to complete. Fortunately, he timed the adventure perfectly ahead of Gomez’s 34th birthday celebration on July 22. The singer and actress is currently staying in London to film the sixth season of her hit Hulu series, Only Murders in the Building.

Conquering His Fear of Flying

Blanco previously chronicled his severe flying anxiety in a TikTok video back in April. He claimed that specific trip was his very first flight in eight years. The video captured his nervous finger tapping, a giant exhale after takeoff, and a relieved exclamation when he looked down at the coastline.

Furthermore, he noted that his last major Atlantic crossing happened with Ed Sheeran. They took a boat together while working on the singer’s 2017 Divide album.

Facing Fears and Releasing New Music

“I’m not sure you realize how monumental this is for me,” he told the camera during the April flight. He also used the stressful moment to plug his 2026 self-help book, F–k Failure.

“You just keep getting up and you f–king do it,” he advised his followers about facing their fears. Eventually, he successfully kissed the ground after safely deplaning. In addition to his massive travels, Blanco offered up the first taste of his Spanish-language album, Hermoso, last week. The new project officially drops on August 14.
